I'm a Veteran of a Foreign War, but I'm not a VFW member. With that said, I don't know the rules, but at :38 in the video, there is a sign that says "Open to the Public". I don't know how to interpret that, but I could mean that anyone can come in and drink.

You don't have to be a member of that post to come in and if you have someone to vouch for you you can come in. And of course, they reserve the right to refuse service to anyone

Either way the Bartender is still required to check ID before serving someone booze. The stuff about memberships and VFW and open to the public is pointless to even bring up in this instance as it has nothing to do with what the kid did.

Carding has become much more than that. Nowadays an individual will get carded even if he/she is OBVIOUSLY wayyy over 21. Its not about proving your age, it's about the cashier/seller going on a power trip. That's what probably pissed this person off so much.
