Air crashes are defiantly bad not a whole lot of them are survivable. The flight school I go to had a twin engine plane crash on takeoff. All three onboard survived due to sheer luck. When they crashed the right wing sheared off and the wind was blowing from that direction. With the right wing gone all the fuel on that side was already gone too and when the left wing caught on fire the wind blowing against the fire kept it at bay long enough for the 3 folks to get out alive.2004 Suzuki DL650

I saw an F-4 crash into Mesquite's golf course as a kid... Will never forget that image, or sound.Some cars and a bike...

Super Bowl Sunday of 2003 I watched a Tomcat hit the water off the ass end of the ship. One of the coolest things I have seen. (seeing how 10 minutes later the chopper landed and the crew of the F-14 walked off it)Comment

Not exactly a crash, but i was 100 yards away from this went it went up, fuel tank explosion. Scary shit, biggest fire ive ever seen. Could have been much worse, aircraft parked all around it, the one parked on the left of it had a max fuel load on going to Saudi later that evening.Originally posted by SC457A View Post
