Ehhh, i was expecting Miniguns......

I know a few contract company's that do exactly this... provide private security for Ships...Some of the good ones use real fire power...

I'd imagine 7.62 would not be a concern, but I was thinking maybe they were using rounds that would bounce off the hull of the boat they were protecting.

Just a dumb guess on my part though, since I have no idea how thick/durable they are in reality. I was just thinking it be nice to gather the brass.

There's not a whole lot short of a direct RPG hit that is going to scratch the hull on one of those freighters. IMO those boats are one of the engineering marvels of our time from their sheer size of both the boat and their powerplants.

Oh and where the hell do I sign up for that contractor gig. If only the MarineCorps would let some of us volunteer to go shoot at these guys lol.
