Changed out my tail lights

Search my posts on this topic. There have to be red reflectors on the rear of the vehicle on both ends, the reflectors have to be red, and the tail lights have to be visible at a certain distance.

The OP's new tail lights are red, and I'm sure can be seen at the distance specified.

I wasn't being a dummy. I actually never knew there was a law against tinted tail lights. But anyways, in person they aren't that dark and I like the style better then the stock ones.

My advice? You like them. Keep them. If you get stopped later deal with it then as its a fix it ticket. I think it looks good *troll

Don't be a dummy. I said the laws cover taillights. Not tail light "covers". Either way the 90's covers are just as illegal as DARK tinting.

Ive posted no less than 3 statutes that cover tail lights. I have yet to see one actual statute covering the HID's.

Costco is your friend. Last I checked the D3100 package was $699. $50 less than what I paid and that's the cheapest I've seen it.

Do you mean factory tail lights that are custom tinted, or any tail light that doesn't meet some color standard of a statute? It seems like I've seen factory tail lights that are about as dark as the tail lights pictured above. What about Altezza's?

Im going to be organizing a country backroad cruise for next month. We will have a couple of stops along with the way that have some great spots for photo ops and there will a couple of guys there that take really good pics if you interested in a shoot for your car.

Tinted taillights are illegal. Search it here. I've posted multiple statutes on this subject. I stop for it all the time.
