I swear every day during primary when the weather was actually good enough to fly I'd take a second to just sit there and think "holy shit, I get paid to do this..."

I kept waiting for a bill in the mail for all the fun I was having or something lol!

Yea the Israeli pilot got it blown off. Said he had no idea it wasn't there until he landed and got out. Pretty damn unbelievable!

Mr the Rocket what training path are you in?

Initial or with a final platform? Seems you are in the self loading baggage pipeline but what airframe?


Mind you I would pitchfork a truckload of kittens and spotted owls to trade places with you. My medical was just bad enough for no aircrew but good enough I could stay in.

I enjoyed my 2 weeks at Kadena. Watching the F-15s fly was a bonus. But damn, early curfews left us sleeping in our bird at Futenma a couple of times and DO NOT CROSS THE RED LINE!!!11111ZOMGZ!!! lol

Oh he knew, he was going to eject, but the he realised his plane was still flying. The F15 was the first fighter with adaptive methods for lost surfaces.

CSO training out at NAS Pensacola. Basically to make sure the pilot doesn't get lost/shot down/off target lol. Training obsolete warriors every day here, but working on getting to UPT.

nothing worse than listening to F15's all day on kadena... loses the wow factor in a month or 2. Just like the B1's...
