maybe it is because i grew up in garland, but i like the tri-stars. would probably like them even more if they were gold.

Grand Am is the closest we get at the moment.

The closest is probably SCCA World Challenge. Grand Am has mandatory pit stops/driver changes/etc, while World Challenge is a 50 minute sprint race. Several cars with minor changes run both series though.

GM and Ford are both pretty involved in Grand Am & SCCA World Challenge fwiw.

As much as that sucks, the roof is in one piece, it'll likely get rebuilt.
