you obviously have no clue what you are talking about. he could lose the next 5 fights and would still be considered one of the best ever mma fighters

Fedor was always overrated, he is the product of very carefully chosen opponents."When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic." -Benjamin Franklin
"A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover that they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury." -Alexander Fraser Tytler

I've said a million times that if fedor would have told M1global to fuck off, went to the UFC and DROPPED TO LIGHT HEAVY, he would be shitting on the entire division. Jon Jones would have gotten drug down and hammered out. Fedor was stupidly quick for a HW and I feel would have been the only person with the skill (and balls) to basically bum rush JJ and put him on his back.Originally posted by quicstang99 View Postlol at this guy, what a ra-tardOriginally posted by PGreenCobraI can't get over the fact that you get to go live the rest of your life, knowing that someone made a Halloween costume out of you. While he's a bad ass fighter I just think he's passed his time. MMA fighters of today are vastly different from those from the past. All of these legends of MMA who aren't adapting to what the sport is becoming or changing how they fight are left in the past.
Either way he's one tough mofo and will be a hall of famer!

long live the last emperori never said the dude sucks, im just saying i caught him at the end of his career and he got beat down X3. that shit happens. look at cro cop, liddell, etc. fighters like any other athlete have that point and when they get past it they're no longer who they once were.Originally posted by quicstang99 View Postlol at this guy, what a ra-tard2011 Mustang GT

I agree with the first part of your comment for sure. But as for taking out JJ, it would be a matter of luck with a punchers chance. The reason Fedor did so well with his flurries of punches was because of his tremendous hand speed and accuracy.Originally posted by DON SVO View PostI've said a million times that if fedor would have told M1global to fuck off, went to the UFC and DROPPED TO LIGHT HEAVY, he would be shitting on the entire division. The key to beating JJ at LHW will be another fighter who has range like himself, or a lucky punch. He is a physical anomaly in his division.

Hence why I overstated the "take him down and pound him out" part... Fedor has (had?) the strength and quickness to get much larger fighters down and square them in the jaw from the guard/half guard. I don't see Jones being much different, I feel Fedor had the ability and best chance I know of to test his light switch from a GNP perspective.Originally posted by Steve View PostI agree with the first part of your comment for sure. Fedor is one of the most overrated fighters ever. The heavyweight division has been full of garbage until Brock showed up and allistar gained 90 pounds, aside from Randy fighting outside the weight division. Fedor has beat cans, 'professional' wrestlers with no credentials and other bullshit side shows.Originally posted by grove rat View Post^that would be like saying royce gracie is a has-been cause he lost to matt hughes

Pride was rumored to be fixed similar to pancreas. Let me know who Fedor defeated that was amazing.

Very possibly, unfortunately we will never know. Fedor could have been one of the greatest fighters of all time, but due to his government controlling him we will never really know what Fedor was actually capable of doing. It was fun to watch his career at times, enjoying the mythic legend of Fedor.Originally posted by DON SVO View PostHence why I overstated the "take him down and pound him out" part... Two years ago one of the greatest fight matchups possible would have been Anderson Silva and Fedor at 205lbs. But soon both will retire and we'll never see it. It's doubtful we will ever see Silva tested again as well. Would be great for the sport if he was.
