Soo you rather buy the spindles and keep the stock springs? I was getting a kit that came everything but the spindles. It was a 4/5 kit too. I was thinkin 2 1/2 spindles with the 4/5 kit? Hopefully no c-notch will be required?Originally posted by OrangeChevyII View PostI robbed the kit off the 05 truck that was my parts truck. McGaughys lowering kit, from and rear leaf spring hangers, and a spring. I kept the stock springs so I can get a spindle later. I hate the ride of a spring. It's a 4/5 drop....I think.

Well shit, that defeats the purpose... Stock diesel. BoooOriginally posted by Woods Racing Transmission View PostIt will fit but the floor pan will hit the transmission. Duramax with a 4L80 is what most people do. Just have to keep the D-max at stock HP levels. Unless you have deep pockets for tranny mods.

Would you do the spindle and lowering spring or just spindle and stock spring?Originally posted by OrangeChevyII View PostIt's not required, but it needs it in my opinion. I kept the overload spring in as well. The spindle is a much better ride, hands down with out a doubt. If you can't as low as you want, use a lower control arm as well.
