Wow. Would like to know what Jeep/Chrysler has done if anything..."Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes...Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man." - Thomas Jefferson, 1776

Would like to see how it does if they were to put bigger wheels and lower profile tires on it..."Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes...Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man." - Thomas Jefferson, 1776

Apparently, it'll fold 'em over and pop the tires even more often.Originally posted by BlackGT View PostWould like to see how it does if they were to put bigger wheels and lower profile tires on it...Originally posted by PGreenCobraI can't get over the fact that you get to go live the rest of your life, knowing that someone made a Halloween costume out of you. They compared it to two European models...not really sure if that's a fair comparison or not. Still some scary shit, and would at the very least leave some nice "button-holes" cut by your sphincter.
This same type test did in the Isuzu Trooper 10-12 years ago. I think it was done by "Consumer Reports".

If you think hitting a moose is like hitting a whitetail, you're beyond mistaken. It's like hitting a Brahma Bull on stilts. And let's say you do hit it in the legs. Now you have something weighing hundreds of pounds crashing into your passenger compartment (remember when you chose protecting your grill over that?) at 45 miles an hour. That's the same as if you dropped the animal on yourself from a 4th floor window. Nice try, though.Originally posted by Crownline79 View PostNice big iron brush guard can fix that... now no need to swerve ...ZOMBIE REAGAN FOR PRESIDENT 2016!!! heh

Both of those models are available here. The moose test is a requirement by the Swedish government, since they have a lot of moose. Volvo even has moose crash test dummies.Originally posted by Vertnut View PostThey compared it to two European models...not really sure if that's a fair comparison or not.
