As soon as I can figure out how to get the fucking Mazda emblems off, those will get done as well. None of the how-to's online are worth a shit, so I'll have to figure it out. It was WAY too hot in my garage yesterday to dick around with it anymore.

Just leave them on and peel the areas you want to expose. Use an X-acto or some sort of razor to "score" the dip, but you might not need to depending.

People on forums have complained that if you want to order the stuff in bulk from them to do a whole car that that it takes a few weeks to get your stuff. Basically they are overwhelmed and understaffed. Just what I've heard, no first hand experience.

tape off the area and spray them while they are on the car. The Plasti-dip peels off the paint and stays on the emblem.

The stuff peels off easily if you do thick coats. You don't even need to tape off an area well. Basically roughly tape an area off just enough so the overspray "dusting" gets on the tape and not the car. If the dust does get on the car it's not difficult to remove, just time consuming. If you do several coats to build it up the excess peels off easily.

If you actually plan to remove it someday, be sure to get it on thick.

If you don't, the spotty areas are an absolute motherfucker to scrape off. It took me four hours to get that garbage off my Brembo wheels. It doesn't come off in sheets when it's old and dry.

^This - the thicker it is the easier removal will be. When you think you've done enough, do 4 more coats, when that all finishes drying, do 2 more for good measure. lol

What I'm saying is, do a lot more than you think you need to. I figured this out when experimenting with completely blacking out my lights for the drunk of it.

Don't go too wild on it unless you have an inspection hookup. I was down getting my wife's daily a new sticker on sat an they had a 8.5 x 11 posted with new rules for tinted lenses. Just letting ya know.

The plasti-dip brand light tint is removable, it peels off. When it's time for inspection peel it off and reapply afterwards.

So it's best to just tape then off so the paint doesn't go into the holes?

Just buy a few cans, get it home, then experiment with painting and removing. It's pretty self explanatory and completely idiot proof.

Well, I plasti-dipped my emblems and front grill and its holding up pretty good. Its been washed multiple times. But i haven't taken through an automated car wash since they say that will rip it right off! Just make sure you put on like 4 to 5 coats.

Mine are holding up well, haven't peeled or torn or anything, but then again I never wash the damn thing, so it might if I decide to get it washed.

Just dont take it through a car wash with all the big ass brushes. I hear itll just rip it straight off. Laser wash or hand washing it will do. lol
