What the fuck, you can get popped if your protesting servers "no legitimate purpose"? Maybe he like paying in change, I do when I have amassed large quantities, not just pennies though. "I cleaned out my couch, this is all the money I have" sounds good to me.Last edited by Kyle; 09-15-2012, 11:46 AM.

Agreed, but it was funny and somewhat creative. Honestly the clerks has had the donuts, and if unfolding them was exercise, his boss should have made him.Originally posted by 03trubluGT View PostI would not want to unfold that either if I were the clerk. It's not the clerk's fault he got issued the ticket.sigpic18 F150 Supercrew - daily

Several years ago Congress passed a law stating that pennies were not legal tender. Just for this reason. I believe that they are the only current currency that can be refused.
I tried to pay for my sons apartment rent while in college on a Friday. On Saturday it would be late and incur ridiculous late fees. They refused cash because they had no way to store it.(not my problem)
Long story short - lawyer involved -- apt management- apology-- 1 month free rent!
He who knows the rules -- wins!
