+ The Bin laden take down had a helicopter go down inside Pakistan. At that point opsec got busted because The guy the Pakistanis were protecting was dead inside their borders and a strange black helicopter (that resembled a blackhawk) was burning in the courtyard. Yes too much technical info leaked out but the mission wasnt going to be secret with Pakistan raising a fuss about a secret US mission into its borders. Remember Pakistan supported the mujahedin and Taliban to stop the soviets and to keep the "illegal" drug production going

+ Gerorge Bush was first to discuss drone usage and attacks. The drones also weren't covert even their procurement wasn't covert.

+ stuxnet was reported by a Russian tech company hired by the Iranians to solve their tech issues. From their it was placed on hacker sites for decoding while people were decrypting it to see how it worked and what its payload was. Its lifetime had run its course.

The OBL mission wasnt a fact gathering mission, it was an assassination with chance to gather information. otherwise they wouldnt have been planning to be in and out in under hour (I think it was 45 min). If the mission was a fact gathering mission then it failed the minute they left 4 wives, kids, and a helicopter behind. As that tainted the lifespan of any information gathered.

I suspect the wives left behind so they would alert their Pakistani handlers and AQ contacts that OBL was leaking brain matter. Which would allow US intell to establish and track the command and control elements in Pakistan.

This video is more to do about politics than opsec. and it's trying to remove Obama's military achievements because polls are showing the dems are beating the repubs. in national safety/defense issues
