So I have been putting this off for some time, but I finally had to do it. My R/C hobby has grown to the point where I needed a better way to carry my planes. I looked at buying a trailer but any one I wanted was going to cost in the neighborhood of 2k.
I decided on a bed topper. I found this one for pretty cheap, it’s all aluminum, and sturdy as new. But the damn thing is ugly as sin! I planned on pulling out the bubble windows, and replacing them with flat ones, tinting all of them, and painting the whole thing white to match the truck. I figured that would make it a little less of an eye sore.
But this past week most of my friends and neighbors has said of of two things, 1: take that ugly ass thing off and burn it! (not an option due to it actually serving a real world purpose. And 2: leave it the way it is its friggen hilarious, and fits the look of the truck perfectly.
For those who don’t know the truck has a fairly heavily modded 2.3t running 21psi and (when its running right) is fairly quick.
What do you guys think, leave it or fix it up?

i'd just try to buff the "scrollwork" off the windows and call it a day.
