He obviously thought there was minimal risk. He did check and re-check the clearance around the helicopter cool.

Besides, no reward is without risk. Sometimes, just giving a person a helping hand is worth it.

yah, They're in an r22. The guy on the left is the instructor who snatches controls. While not a ton of risk doing what he's doing not a great idea easy way to snag a skid. Some times you gotta think in the back of the head how you're going to explain to the FAA what you were doing. Pretty neat vid though

what made me laugh was...they are cruising along..Instructor chilling smoking a Cig..then poof all of a sudden he spots it! throws the Cig in his mouth and grabs controls to make a kick ass save for that kid...
