Yes. It was an excellent tribute to LZ. Heart has covered LZ for a long time. They have covered quite a few songs.
Jack Black was his usual funny self. (skip to 1:13)

I wish they had time to do the complete songs.
Here is a good interview of them.

I gave it a shot...until she opened her mouth. If it aint robert plant, fuck it. Led Zeppelin is without a doubt my favorite band. And IV is my favorite album. I don't know why i even clicked the link.Originally posted by SS Junk View PostHeart's tribute was definitely the best. You could tell at least Jimmy was moved. They also do a good version of Battle...

Great White doesn't do too bad a job either:
Love that album. In My Time of Dying is my favorite song and funnest to drum to.Originally posted by Pro88LX View Postcovers are ok, but Led Zeppelin is the greatest band to play rock and roll and nothing comes anywhere close to the original

Agreed- I liked the music in KR's song but his vocals sucked. Overall a very cool show and thanks for sharing. I can't believe I missed this the other night.Originally posted by mstng86 View PostHearts cover was awesome. Kravitz was surprisingly really good and foo fighters were ok. Kidd rock ruined my favorite zepp song. He was awful.
Jack Black said it best- best rock and roll band EVER.

That cover was pretty fucking good. In my time of dying is one of my favorites also. Physical Graffiti is an excellent album, probably my favorite too.Originally posted by SS Junk View PostGreat White doesn't do too bad a job either:
