I used to work on computer monitors and you had to be careful to discharge the tube before you handled it. You always wanted to be be careful about removing a picture tube and accidently touching where the flyback anode clipped in. Knock your dick in the dirt.

I use to work on them too. Those things would bite hard. I was VERY careful to stay away from that wire or the flyback.

My dad was trying to work on his TV one time. He wasn't aware of the danger. He managed to get popped by it. Talk about screaming like a girl.
