Nice pics and kickass stangs, but that Caddy stole the show. Smooth ass car.

Yes. Just like all those Daytonas have those "gay ass" wings, all those Boss 429s have those "gay ass" hood scoops, and all those W-30 4-4-2s have those "gay ass" red fender liners.Originally posted by krazy kris View PostDo all those laguna's have those gay ass red wheels
Its alright if you don't like it, but its pretty damned cool to me.When the government pays, the government controls.

That seems to be the only way to get an older car painted...do it yourself.
Most shops just laugh and say..."No old cars". I have been asking around and have yet to find any around here that will mess with them. I have been having my old cars painted back in my home town but have had terrible luck. One car was said to be painted in 2 months....took over a year. The other car is in it second body shop after the first one tried to pull a fast one. Then it was delivered to the current shop as a stripped roller that was going to be a year long process. Now it is going on 3-3 1/2 years and it is still on the rotissere. I still have about 3 more that I want to get done but without a good body shop I don't want to start on anything else.Last edited by 1carcrazyguy; 02-25-2013, 04:41 PM.

I like them too, and only the '12s got them FWIW. The 2013s are a little less flashy.Originally posted by 46Tbird View PostYes. should buy one and make it a project with your kids.Originally posted by 03trubluGT View PostThat's pretty damn much the same color as a friend's dad's 63 Mercury Comet. I loved that damn car. It had a hi-comp 289 and 4-speed and was fully restored.
I still wished I could have bought it.

LOL, nope. But we did see it. I almost swung around to get a couple of pictures there but we didn't.Originally posted by Treadhead View PostNice! Looks like you spent some time on my beat. Y'all go to Stockyards Cabaret?
Dealing with bodyshops is always a pain in the ass. They always take too long, cost too much, and deliver work that you're not happy with. But remember this is a two-way street, and from a shop owner's perspective, it's customers that are a pain in the ass, expect the work done too soon, are cheapasses, and are too picky.Originally posted by 1carcrazyguy View PostThat seems to be the only way to get an older car painted...do it yourself.
