I don't even know where to begin with that, the best part of that was when he stfu and let the drummer play a regular beat, I especially liked the portion where he was using the ghost notes, it had a good groove.

I'm not into the speed metal drumming. I guess fast double bass and repetitiveness does nothing for me.

Jazz is the one place where I'm prepared to back that claim up, at least against this crowd.

That said, fusion doesn't always suck (the more funk influence the better), but jazz it ain't. Also, I'm contractually obligated to be needlessly pedantic.
