Hadfield posts some pretty cool stuff on Twitter

Spaceflight finale: To some this may look like a sunset. But it's a new dawn

Spaceships glowing blue in the dawn as we leave Florida headed across the Atlantic

Chris and Tom, helmet lights doing their best to light the universe on the dark side of the Earth

Chris and Tom are safely outside ISS, hard at work in the vacuum of space, looking for signs of the ammonia leak. THAT was a busy AM inside.
Do you hear how different their voices sound at the suit's low pressure? Turns out in the 4.2 psi oxygen you can't whistle - air's too thin.

Would have been better if they had done the Harlem Shake.

In true DFWmustangs baller fashion you could get a seat on one of the Virgin Galactic flights!

Virgin Galactic is launching a new space age, where all are invited along for the ride.

Sub-orbital but still 100km+ so technically it's in space.

The way things are going, I wouldn't say never. As Strychnine mentioned, suborbital flights are going to get fairly common place in the next year or two. Commercial orbital flights from private firms will happen before the end of the year.

If Musk gets Falcon 9 and Dragon to be 100% reusable, then all bets are off. Orbital manned flight will get below a half million a person during our lifetimes.

That's a lot of money, but definitely doable to anyone with the will to go for it.

                          That was awesome! Some thoughts:

                          - That is a VERY strange song choice for an astronaut to sing, particularly IN space.

                          - What's the deal with firemen, police, and astronauts sporting the push-broom?

                          - I like it better than Bowie's version.

                          - I couldn't help but think of the Flight of the Conchords 'Bowie' episode.

                              a. It is simultaneously the most appropriate and most inappropriate song to sing in space.

                              b. Can't explain that one.

                              c. Can't agree with that.

                              d. One of my first thoughts too. They mentioned something about it on their Twitter right after it came out.
