All the chrome looks in good condition, from what I can tell.I wouldn't mess with it.

It's not good enough to leave it like it is. Has a bunch of little scratchs. The wheels are perfect.

When that song first came out I told a chick that the song is about suicide. Being the air headed blonde she was she didnt believe it. I told here he's saying "Im blue, a thousand feet and I will die". She agreed and I thought that was the end of it. She invited me to her house a few days later and a few of my friends and her family were there for a f'ing intervention. She thought I must be suicidal to hear that in the song. They had all sorts of brochures and crap and kept telling me life is worth living. I laughed and took off.

It's your car. Do what makes you happy.

That said, you asked for opinions. I think a flat black body is cool. I dig it but you need the chrome to offer some contrast to the body. IMO a completely monochromatic color scheme comes across as very bland. It looks OK on a truck that is going for the tactical look, but it just doesn't work on a 'vette. Especially one as pretty as yours is. Breaking up that flat black body with chrome wheels and bumper looks pretty kick ass.

I would just get the body color right and leave the chrome alone.

Flat black works on old rods and high end exotics... Everything else just looks primered

I'm working on my coupe right now and just bought "flat Blue" For it. The flat colors have really grew on me.

That should be cool. I saw a import the other day at a light painted flat dark blue and it was real nice looking.

Stop dicking around. It's a chrome bumper Vette. Leave all the chrome on it, leave the wheels polished, don't tint the fucking glass, paint the fucking car with real paint.
