It is extremely sad that Granger Smith had to create Earl Dibbles Jr. to draw big crowds to his shows. He has some good music, he just never drew a crowd worth a flip.

Did you watch him at the Mule last time he was there? I went to a show at the Silver Saloon a couple years ago before the whole Dibbles debacle. It was good but like you said - small crowd.

No. I haven't gone to a sho since the Dibbled dribble came about. The last show he played for me when I was running the bar, he showed up an hour late for show time. I have never seen him with a good crowd, ehen it was just Granger. He has a lot of really good songs, just didn't have the crowd appeal. It wasn't partying drinking songs. They all had some meaning.
