Man, my kid would never get something that nice. My first truck spent it's first 300K miles as an electrical delivery truck, then I got it. I basically learned to be a mechanic on that POS. And wow times have changed, since when is a taurus considered to be a cool chick magnet?

I was a country boy, so yeah trucks were a big deal. I got that deal too, just not a nice car to start with. Parents paid $800 for the truck. I sold it for $1700, bought a cadillac Seville, sold that for $1800, got a newer Seville, gave that to my sister, bought a 300zx, then a saturn, then a mustang gt, then another mustang gt, then an F150, then a thunderbird SC, then an RX8, then a Formula Firebird, then a cougar, then a mustang gt, then a mustang cobra.Originally posted by SSMAN View PostIf I bought my son a pos, I would feel obligated to buy something else later. I first experienced that Mykey shit when I rented an Expedition in SLC Utah. I was driving everyday for a week about 40 miles down I-80. The speed limit was 75 or 80 and occasionally the truck wouldn't go over 78-79 MPH, and other times I could do 85+. I eventually figured-out it had something to do with the keys. That brings me to another point, why the fuck do rental companies give you two sets of keys that are tied together with a plastic ring that you have to break to get them apart? It makes it to where if you lose the keys it's going to be pretty expensive to replace both sets + remotes.
