That was pretty safe. Some of those tail dragger guys can land and take off in the length of the airplane. On top of that it looked like he landed into a pretty stiff headwind so he was crawling when he set down. If he botched the landing he had no obstacles to contend with. Just drop off the other side and trade altitude for airspeed.2004 Suzuki DL650

Its really fun coming in with a 30 knot direct head wind in my 150. You are crawling across the ground when you touch down.....You can't quite stop it as short as a cub but its still the same concept. The hardest part of this landing in the video is not the wind or the ground speed.
