Well guys hope you guys have had a Merry Christmas, I received a phone call this morning that they had located my truck and was at a Dallas pound. According to the detective it was completely "stripped". So I guess ill see what it looks like tomorrow.

I am not sure the claim would work like an individual claim in this instance. I would assume it would fall undr general liability/theft insurance for the business.

As for still being sold as new, I would think as long as there was no damage to the vehicle it wouldn't be an issue. Much like buying a truck that the dealer has customized with wheels and a lift.

Here is a link, not the same I originally saw but it was in Silsbee

    Cars vandalized at Silsbee dealership
Thieves vandalized 51 trucks at a car dealership in Silsbee, causing well over $100,000 in damage.

According to Silsbee police the theft happened late Saturday night into early Sunday morning at Cowboy Silsbee, probably between midnight and four a.m.

The suspect or suspects removed the tires and wheels from brand new vehicles parked on the lot and the trucks were left on blocks.

Two employees came in to decorate for Christmas when they noticed tires were missing from vehicles.

Silsbee police is looking at all of the surveillance video and the Southeast Texas Auto Task Force is assisting the investigation.
