Those signs were a bitch to ship back from vegas but my da....., I mean we decided to bring them home instead of taking the 2 mil we were offered. Think of them as investments... very fragile investments.

How long can the car sit up on the lift?

I have a similar lift (Gemini 9000 lb. low profile) and the locking tabs hold the car steady and rigid on the lift. I never had any of my cars up on the lift for more than a few days, but since the car is held up by mechanical means by the tabs and not by the hydraulics, I assume it can be up there for a reasonably length of time.

My ceiling is exposed and my lift goes up in the rafters also. The ceiling is 10 ft. high with the garage being a 30x45 ft. Morton building.

Worried about a banana up the tailpipe much?

I'm guessing he has those on there to keep from smacking his melon ?

Probably doesn't want birds getting in there.

LOL! I had the tailpipes hanging for some time when the drivetrain and exhaust was out. I didn't want the tips gouging the paint/bumper so I hung some rags over them. But I'm sure it helped prevent bananas and birds from entering!

Car happened to be up in both pics. But I've had it on it for days at a time when putting motor, converter, trans, exhaust, suspension, etc in.

Hoist thru the ceiling, never thought of that ! How tall is the ceiling ?What is the size of the building? Looks like a nice work space.Good job!

Ceiling is 10'6". I can lift the mustang as high as the lift will go and I have 3-4 inches to the span. Building is 24x36. Thanks!
