HKG ( recently # 1) and MEM. MEM is Fedex's world wide head quarters.

Weight-wise, that makes sense. I think ORD and DFW are up there as far as passenger volume.

Possibly. I move freight, not people, so I don't know :P

Although I'd venture to guess ATL is up there.

I would take a guess at FedEx hub - Memphis and UPS hub -- Louisville.

                Atlanta, also.

                • After posting I went to check:

                  By PASSENGER VOLUME
                  1 Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport
                  2 Los Angeles International Airport
                  3 O'Hare International Airport
                  4 Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport
5 John F. Kennedy International Airport
                  6 Denver International Airport
                  8 Charlotte Douglas International Airport
                  9 McCarran International Airport
10 Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport

But as far as weight goes, I think likeitfast55 is onto something with the shipping hubs. There's a reason very large companies like Cummins position continent-wide parts hubs in Memphis.

What I posted above was accurate. DFW is a very large truck hub because you can hit either coast in 2 days. MEM is the largest pet LB airport in the us. HKG Hong Kong is the #1 world wide.

                            • This happened a couple weeks ago, a KC-10 lost the boom inflight. from what i heard happened, it was lowered in prep for tanker air refueling, began to oscillate and ripped free from the fuselage over Idaho. Receiver was not hit. The last pic is from several years ago, same jet tipped at Depot maintenance during fuel transfer. Crewed these for 9 years, saw the drogue basket ripped off once by an F-14, and had a jet land with the nozzle of another 10's boom broke off in the UARRSI but not the whole boom falling off.
