I removed badges from my z06 using a hair dryer and fishing line with no issues - was afraid the heat gun would be too much.

That is exactly what was shown in the video I watched on the subject.Originally posted by 1carcrazyguy View PostI did not want to use a heat gun and take a chance on blistering the paint. I used fishing line and to (slowly) saw the emblem off and and then slowly peeled the tape off. If you pull the tape "down and out", it will come off in one piece. It took about 30 minutes per side. I also did the emblems on the tailgate.
One question though, did you leave your truck out in the sun to warm it up? I was thinking that would be a good idea, but the weather isn't going to cooperate this weekend...

That is damn good lookin..Originally posted by 1carcrazyguy View PostThey look much better with no side badges.
I might go that far with debadging the truck but for now I just want that huge longhorn emblem off. I was watching a few videos on how to do it without a heat gun so I'm going to get it done this weekend.

These are only 390hp.Originally posted by Rick Modena View PostI've never owned a Dodge/Chrysler in my life, but I'd buy that blue bitch. The only truck I liked as much was my 02 Lightning. Of course the 430HP & 510TQ always left a shit eatin grin on my face.
The new 8 speed transmission is nice. Seats are way comfy and as stated before. The heated steering wheel is super nice!! But more than that. It just seems to fit in around here......

Had it a year now and she has put 6700 miles on it. Lowered 2/3.....just waiting on them to bring out a 6.4 or hellcat version so we can justify trading it in.Originally posted by Rick Modena View Post^^^

What where the most basic problems with the dodges ? Transmissions ? Or holes in the dash ?Originally posted by Big Dad View PostI have owned most of the brands over the years, my last Chevrolet truck was new in 1990 , notice I SAID last , pos.
I drove a 2012 Ecoboost till 100,000 miles for a company truck, it was a gigantic hunk of shit , period .it made monthly trips to dealership.
I have owned several new Dodges and they have given me zero problems of any kind , knock on wood .
Not one has ever been back to dealership for anything other than the most basic of problems .

Yeah, my silly little Leaf has heated rear seats and steering wheel. This was my first winter with the heated steering wheel and it is magical. It heats up fast and really makes a difference.Originally posted by Denny View PostWell, I have heated seats and mirrors, but I'm still trippin on the heated steering wheel. Hell, even my second row seats are heated.

As a ten year owner of a dodge truck, even I must declare faggotry. This is an outrage!

Nice truck. I have a Ram that I bought new in 2012. Not a single problem with it. It loves to tow. Only negative would be that in town gas mileage is deplorable with the Hemi. The 4th Gen Rams are nothing like the rattle traps in previous years.

Yea, I'm in agreement on the door badge. It's coming off.Originally posted by mstng86 View PostNice looking truck. The interior styling is a little much for my taste but I do like the red.
I concur on the door badge too. It takes up half the door.
