They look ever more ridiculous in person. There's one in my neighborhood and the rider takes "biker fag" to the next level.

Sucks man.. One of the disadvantages of being supersized.Originally posted by jluv View PostGo to sit in one today. The seat was comfortable, but the legroom sucked and the driver floorboard was like putting my giant feet in a shoebox. With my right foot on the gas pedal and resting against the right side wall, the left side of my foot was maybe 1/4" from the brake pedal. It would be flat out dangerous trying to drive it like that. I could maybe shave some material off the right side of the brake pedal, and wear ballet shoes, but that ain't cool.
Oh well. It's just not meant to be.

It's a moot point now, but the Slingshot can be had for $20k. I damn sure don't want to spend my free time building anything when there is so much other stuff to enjoy up in the mountains.Originally posted by Big A View PostFor that kind of scratch I'd rather build a kit Shelby Cobra.
The old lady likes the new Mustangs, and I think that would be a great choice for a daily, but if we get another vehicle, it will barely get driven. I can't justify dropping $30-40k for something I'd surely end up wanting to modify anyway to get my blood flowing.

Did they ever get the legality of those things figured out in Texas?
