Have a 68 firebird that just needs final assembly, 58 & 64 Impalas, 88 Silverado tow rig & scratch built trailer and a 49 ford that need to be built before i buy any more kits thoughOriginally posted by Steve View PostVery cool Chris! I LOVE the Impala! I really want one of those very badly, just like you have it setup. The Chicayne is one of my favorite hot rods ever.

can you regulate the pressure on the tank? On the model building forums there have been some people that just fill a portable air tank at thee gas station and use that LOL. Hobby lobby sells the higher end airbrush setups. I always get a 40% off any one item coupon that should help with the cost. What kind of RC car did you get?Originally posted by ELVIS View Posti have not. i need to do more research. i have a little pancake compressor already, i am wondering if i could get away with just purchasing the gun. i assume so.

You sir have mad skillz! I've done some pretty elaborate paint on some R/C bodies, but your work on the smaller scale is impressive. This is a pretty cool website for ideas:

I need to get a pic of the Desoto ladder truck I gave to my aunt when she promoted to battalion chief. All the ground ladders and axe handles I used wood grain touch up pen. Great for car interiors too, comes out looking just like woodgrain."You don't so much drive it, more like poke it with a sharp stick and channel the fury when you piss it off."

Man, I've heard of those pens but I've never actually seen the results. Always been kinda skeptical.Originally posted by 01yz2nv View PostI need to get a pic of the Desoto ladder truck I gave to my aunt when she promoted to battalion chief. As long as its not a large surface area they are great. Im sure if you did a model boat or something it would look like crap, but small detail is great.Originally posted by Neil View PostMan, I've heard of those pens but I've never actually seen the results.
