Baseline run done with only the exhaust. First couple runs the boost hit 11.4 psi bfore the computer adjusted itself to not exceed the stock 9 PSI limitation. Made 374 and 388 whp before it pulled the boost down and then made an honest 336/353 at the wheels.

TCU was just pulled and sent out and the ECU tuner is on the way. Should get another solid 100 hp at the wheels and 130ish more TQ.

Got the ECU/TCU paid for and ordered it with a 93 and 100 octane tune. Cant wait to see how she does on the dyno tomorrow! Place is an hour away and after the run it will give me 2 hours to get the car back and yank the TCU so FedEx can have it by 1 to get it to 034 Motorsports early enough to make sure I get it back before next weekend and the car show up in Dallas.

Well my plan for today was to just install my PLX gauge system. Car had other plans. I noticed it was a bit down on power on the way to my shop so I got it on the rack to check what I suspected it was.
Pulling out of my friends house last night the bottom of the nose hit the ground with a loud thump. I checked to make sure nothing was leaking but didn't notice the intercooler hose clamp snapped. Sure enough it had. Luckily I had a set of nice T-clamps left over from a previous build. Reason number 362 why I need to buy a new belly pan. LOL

So with that fixed it was time to install the gauge. Let me apologize for the crappy pictures I took with my potato. I will try for better ones in a better light latter. One down side is the gauge does not seem to read boost off the OBDII port so I will have to buy the boost module I guess. System does work well though otherwise. The OLED display is nice and crisp and the touch screen is easy enough to use. I like it. The pictures do no justice as its colors match the dash perfectly.

I'm assuming you lost? Probably not by much considering the mods you have done to your RS6...

Prolly. Looked like a Z06 with the badge and all. I did just have the windows re-tinted so I couldn't roll it down to get a good look. Just saw the swoopy shape with a mullet waiving out the window and the strong smell of old stale Budweiser.

Since she is running so damn fine now and gladly defeating anything that had tried to run it this weekend (nothing exciting, just average slow muscle cars) I decided it was pamper day and ordered some things I wanted and some things that bothered me. The rubberized coating on the lock button, one dummy pannel and the mirror switch had been scratched and looks bad so I ordered all new OEM stuff from this amazingly cheap place that was suggested to me.
The RS6 badge on the wheel had worn paint so I polished it all off. Looks neat but I still ordered an OEM red and black badge too.

Also have a bunch of audio items on the way to add the third amp. Love KnuKonceptz stuff. Just excellent quality interconnects and power wires.

Last but not least, a full function display so i can read EGTs, boost, IATs, A/F or pretty much anything I want plus read and reset codes all from a tiny touch screen gauge.

Now its time for a taco run!

Working on Audi's is an exercise in frustration and wonderment at German engineering. I've owned 5 now. Jr. has an '04 A4 with 1.8T that we are working on. It's going to be a really nice first car once everything is sorted out.

That is more fabrication than Gaynay could ever do, why do you think he was going to have to stop in Waco so you could diagnose his ultra complicated starter solenoid problem?

"Oh Bill, can you figure out this starter issue, the only thing I am good at is getting drunk and embarrassing my entire family..." Lmao!
