I've been interested in doing a 70-73 for a while now. I like the 74's also, but not as big a fan of the front end...however it being the last year with the small back window is a plus for sure. You are doing it right with the front end swap.

I think the second gen F-body cars are one of the best candidates for pro-touring...not just looks, but functionality too. Those cars are pretty damned good drivers already, and the suspension mods available for them now-a-days can make them pretty impressive if you like going through some turns.

I really like the big PMD and snowflake wheels on them....

That one at the junkyard is a 71 most likely, as only the 71's had those louvers in the fenders. Is that a random pic, or is that car in a yard somewhere?

I was really close to buying a 73 when I was a dumb teen, and I still kick myself for turning it down.

Dude when I was 15, my dad bought home a 1976 with the dual carburetors. The car was a barn find basically. He got it from this lady her son bought it new but died a short time later. So the car was garage the whole time mint! I was hoping to get it when I started driving no that fool sold it.

Any cant wait to see it once you're done.
