When I was in Iraq and Apache crashed, and both crew were evading Iraqis for approx 24 hours I believe. Lots of air assets out looking for them, and coincidently another apache found them. Apache = 2 seater, so the more injured pilot got into one of the seats, with the remaining two pilots jumping onto the stub wings and hanging on for the ride back to base. Flying around a combat zone on a stub wing > then getting captured by IraqisOriginally posted by Craizie View PostThe guy riding on that Apache is fucking NUTS.

Feeble attempt at humor. I work in one of those "unregulated" places when I go to the plant.Originally posted by stephen4785 View PostGovernment/municipalities are not regulated by osha or the epa.

I do believe it's a maintenance guy riding the apache, I've actually seen it before.

Also, I never got to ride in a Huey. Was on my army bucket list and it didnt happen. As many bird I we were around, I don't even think I actually ever saw one.Last edited by HarrisonTX; 10-11-2012, 11:50 AM.DE OPPRESSO LIBER
