Yes it is open to the public. I was stationed there for 5 years and actually never went. I saw everything there is to see through the fence. Driving by it everyday you don't even notice it after a while. It's inside/part of the base itself.

That's a B-50. It had larger piston engines as well as the jets compared to the B29. The jets were mainly used for takeoff, climb and the attack run.
