That looks a lot like Hanging Lake on Colorado, but I couldn't find any pictures to prove it. Something also doesn't look quite right either.

I totally agree. I've been to some similar lakes up in the Rockies and Glacier National Park, but the Alps seem to have their own distinct brand of serenity and magnificence.
