I use to. I had a friend who owned a forge and we'd make blocks of "Damascus" it's actual name it patter welded steel, unless it comes from the Damascus region of Syria. But yea we'd make them and he'd sell them at the renaissance fairs. Made a sword once. That was bad ass. But I have always liked the look of it.
