Not a fan of those (or trot lines). Used to see the "yoyos" in Arkansas, many times left for long periods of time and some with dead fish on them.

I've seen that too. We used a jon boat with a trolling motor, and would pull up in the cypresses and set a dozen or so, and then run to them as they snag and pull the fish.
