Here is my ride from Long Beach to San Deigo. It's right off the coast the whole way. pretty great scenery.

How far out and around did you have to go around Camp Pendleton?

They actually allow you to ride right through, but you must be wearing a helmet. Major pain. I had to carry a helmet with me all cover that state to wear it for like 10 miles.

i spent a few of my elementary years in Newportbeach. You likely rode past my old elementary as you were approaching balboa. I sure hope you pulled off and checked out The Wedge, if not you need to go back and do it again!

Nice, I normally stay around Carlsbad when I go out there. Sometimes Dana Point/San Clemente, very nice area and I've driven that road many times lol.

Grapes? How the hell are grapes bad? I had a wolf/Sheppard that went nuts for grapes and lived to 14 years old and was never ill.

Grapes are one of those that I thought most people know about. They are super hard on their kidneys, and can cause kidney failure in the worst case. Not like a buildup over time thing, but an instant (acute) "whoops they're they go" toxicity type thing - like tylenol and alcohol on your liver.
