That ain't no shit. Loved my jr-x2 jr-xt and the LXT was a game changer back then.

Loved the trailing arm rear suspension on those! Then the TRX1 came out. The first one of those I saw run, it was super quiet and looked silky smooth. Then I had to corner marshal it and could not believe how light it was. Bought one that night. My gold pan car had a meeting with the drill press and file....left just enough metal on the sides to use Velcro to hold the body on. We filed the spur gears down to reduce drag....even ran them without the cover trying to keep weight down. Even just soldered the battery connections each time instead of running plugs.


I do NOT miss picking up a battery that was so freaking hot it was smoldering though! Lol. Basically you geared them to run 4 minutes and 1 lap...if the battery did not melt the heat shrink and the bars holding the cells together....you were good!!

Lol! I have a losi jr-xt that we use in the HPDE classroom to exaggerate weight transfer when braking and cornering. Wish it still ran. Just need a radio, motor speed control and battery. Otherwise perfect shape.

Hahahah, pretty much my exact same story on why I bought a jr-2. Except I had a traxxas bullet.

When the LXT came out was a serious good time. Picked up the kit on a Friday night which was also the day it was released, stayed up all night and built/got it race ready and set up for Indy rc's track for some Saturday morning races. Proceeded to destroy everyone there with ease, which was amazing considering I couldn't drive for shit and still can't. The truck was that good and I just happened to nail the set up.

The very next Saturday race at Indy, everyone had an LXT except the associated boys.

Thats normal, save your $$$ you can do it with a ruslter for christ sake.

This is my old boat on 4S. I've got a 6S setup but I never did get around to wiring it up. It's been a couple of years now, not sure I'll ever do anything with it again. But it sure was fun!

That boat is wicked! Back home I had a wall full of them. Hydros, Tunnel Hulls, 60" cats, deep V hulls including a triple jet drive replica of the Gentry Eagle. I miss boat racing.

Just tried out the 6S setup in my E-Maxx again but this time off-road. What a blast! Truck is much more suited for off road stuff. I did take a huge jump and didnt level it well so it landed straight down on the titanium rear bumper snapping the bulkheads in several places. Guess thats a good reason for T6 aluminum upgrades.
