The display motor is not identical; it has a two-port Hilborn while the car has a four-port. .
Those mothertuckers! (I'll give 'em a pass though)
I can't get back out here for Bonneville
I almost worked out Bakersfield in late Oct to coincide with the Famoso Hot Rod Reunion (Cacklefest), but instead I'll be in north Tahoe - missing our 5yr anniversary to huff nitro fumes might actually drive my wife to murder me.
THIS is why you, of all folks, needed that gasser.
In addition to those '61 Watson roadster blueprints I also have a copy of the '58-'59 Chassis Research TE440 dragster blueprints (somewhat similar style to what's pictured) with a copy of the engineering report / letter on them.
But the thing I don't have is time. At least not until December.
Unsure at this point, I haven't talked to him in a while, but probably one of these:
1. Move into a shop with a small apartment in the corner and start learning to bend tubes and tig weld.
2. Just build a Cobra.
3. Keep making plans for cars, but never actually start another one b/c he thinks school and work will eventually get him the time and money to build EXACTLY what he wants instead of something he'll like but eventually sell like all the other ones.
3 seems to be taking the lead from what I've heard.

That's kick ass, thanks for sharing. I have a dick load of picture from the BDDG museum in Florida and I didn't come across the the original car picture, but I did come across the 'Baby Moon', but it is covered with the body and states its a jet car, but that it was built in Cali.
Look all you want, she can't find anyone else who treats her as bad as I do, and I keep her self esteem so low, she wouldn't think twice about going anywhere else.
