To that end, mine's got the performance package, so a lot less boaty than what you drove. I'm not looking to road course it either, so it's plenty grippy and planted for me, and the blower drives like stock. No where near Miata money though, that's for sure, but far from being a boat. Apples and bananas.

Plus I could see Midlo stopping me every day on the way to work! The stock Miata's are fairly terrible on handling also. I guess it is hard going from a coil over car with a SC that weighs 2200 pounds to anything stock.

Yeah, not everyone needs a back seat to haul their kids around! I mean if you want to drive a boat, good for you. I can't lie, I liked it a wholeeeee lot. The ole 5.0 has plenty of power un modded which is why I kind of wanted one. While the 300hp Miata was a blast, the tuning and maintenance of the SC was getting old. Also really for the price, compared to most modern V8's the Mustang was not horrible. The black is fairly sexy and the new body style is the best look they have had in a while. I think they have the lines of a 94 Supra and I always liked those cars.

You're putting way too much thought into this SS, nobody cares all that much, which is the point. I forget the specific SN, but that old dude blacksnake or whatever with the big wing, used to keep his diary here, and it was similarly annoying. To get specific with Laser, it wasn't just the one or two overly detailed and updated threads, it's that in addition to also putting those same pictures all over other threads like the "random" car thread and the SFW pic thread. I have been amazingly blessed to have my career mushroom in the last couple years, and have spent plenty on toys, but you wouldn't know that, because I don't keep a DFWM diary.

Pretty sure you've posted remarks about your career and how well you're doing and the cars you drive in past posts. A lot of people here just enjoy giving each other a hard time. Sometimes it goes too far.

I really dig the car. I have some cars I really enjoy too. It's nice to be able to buy yourself stuff and share with friends.

I will be buying my 3rd play car in two or three years. Not certain if there will be a 4th,but maybe. Two toys, plus a DD plus one for Jr and one for the wife is getting a bit out there. Adding another to the mix might be too much but I really want a C5 to go with my C4. I'm also starting to rebuild my fairly extensive r/c aircraft fleet too. I'm getting older and want to have some fun. I've pretty much outgrown video games to allow for car and R/c time. Now I just need this high travel work project to end which should be in March or so.

Yeah, this is Sparta....er, DFWM. lol Its all good though.
I need to go back into RC stuff though. A bit cheaper. lol

Now that the light is at the end of the tunnel (it still could be a train), I've been starting to look for toys again. I wouldn't mind a 94/95 Cobra, perhaps a 98. But the 03/04's gt5hundos, new GT350's, and such are sure appealing.
