There are jackets in the boat. We only wear them when the big motor is going on a windy day or we are fishing a tourney. Yes we probably should wear them more often but dang they are uncomfortable as hell. Even the 100 mph auto inflatables are just as uncomfortable. Those nights the lake was calm and nobody was out there and the depth of the water we were fishing in was like 80 ft deep. Maybe at the ramp did we ever get in water that was below 25ft deep. But thanks for the concern.Originally posted by GE View PostFishing on a boat at night without any life jackets, brilliant.Last edited by krazy kris; 08-27-2018, 11:39 AM.

Who the hell fishes with a life jacket on? It’s one thing if you are running the big motor, but as soon as you kill it, jacket comes off. Anybody commenting about that should prob stick to your pink zebco 33 and your neighborhood pond."You don't so much drive it, more like poke it with a sharp stick and channel the fury when you piss it off."

Kinda surprised to see that kind of response from someone on the FD first responder side of things.Originally posted by 01yz2nv View PostWho the hell fishes with a life jacket on? accidents with alcohol: 60k. All dead. without: 1, and the guy lived he only stubbed his toe on the boat wearing flipflops. Joking aside its nearly always alcohol.Originally posted by GE View PostKinda surprised to see that kind of response from someone on the FD first responder side of things.WH
