That's rad! The only thing I'd change would be the height (I need minimum 10' doors to get the race car in) and enough pad to turn a car around while driving it.

I sent it to your bookface.Originally posted by Silverback View Postsend me the contact info for who did your shop. I'm about ready to pull the trigger on one out here, and I think 30x40x14 is what I want to go with too.

I think that’ll be a great size. I wanted to go bigger but also didn’t want to just totally engulf my property with a metal building. I used Winslow’s, they have several locations around the metroplex.Originally posted by Silverback View Postsend me the contact info for who did your shop. My 30x40x14 with a 12x40 awning was 23k, I had them do a patio cover and extend my driveway to it, total was 26k. 6" and 8" slab for the shop.

I don't think I'd ever go in the house if I had something like that.

Mine was right around $9k, but that was with 4 roll up doors. My neighbor did a 24x25x10 and his was around 65-7000. I must say I’m glad I went with the 12’ side instead of the 10’. Made a huge difference! My concrete guy I work with at the firestation so I had a buddy deal on that. I paid $8900 for the driveway, shop slab, apron, and sidewalk.

That and I don’t plan on keeping random junk in there. I still have the 12x16 shed out back for mower and lawn crap. This will just be car stuff and my office. There is also a good amount of storage on top of the office, and will be hidden by my parapet wall.Last edited by 01yz2nv; 03-13-2019, 12:57 PM.

Wall space is overrated anyway. All it does is give you a spot to pile up crap and you end up losing the floor space.Originally posted by 01yz2nv View PostThat was my thinking, I gave up some wall space, but it’s ok. I plan on doing a covered patio type hang out on the yard side, so I wanted a large party door I could open up, instead of just the walk through.

Wow! That concrete price is killer. I think I was quoted $6000 on just a 12x48 area slab.Originally posted by 01yz2nv View PostNaw i don’t care, since it’s the pre engineered bolt together it’s a lot cheaper.
