Excellent video! I can't imagine the totality of the culture shock. In a lot of ways, I admire the simplicity of the life they had.
I've worked with a number of immigrants from Africa over the years and found all of them to be decent, honest, friendly and hard working men.
I felt sorry for a lot of them though, you could tell they were caught in a sort of catch 22. They came here to make a good living and provide for their families but they really didn't like culture here (in many ways, rightfully so, as has already been addressed).

It's amazing how someone that grew up in Sudan speaks better english than most of the crackers raised in this country.
