    You bought it for $4k or intend to be into everything for $4k?

    I've been looking at Cherokees (I need 5 seats).

    I figured I'd make an update. Here is what I've gotten done in the last month:

    * replaced the driver side door and the hood.
    * Straightened the cage.
    * Aligned the windshield frame to the doors.
    * Fixed the AC.
    * Fixed all the water leaks.
    * bought a hard top for $450 w/ damage. repaired fiberglass to sell for $1100.
    * Cleaned up the fender flares.
    * Got rid of the chrome headlight bezels.
    * shortened the bumpers.
    * 1.25" Body lift, 1" motor lift and tummy tuck.
    * 3" BDS Suspension lift (front finished).
    * 4.88 Gears - Detroit locker in the rear (have yet to stick it back in).

    Coming up - Auburn locker w/ 4.88's in the front, 35" tires, complete cage, stinger and winch up front, swing away rear tire carrier, tube fenders. All I can say, is this thing is like a dream to work on, all these years fucking with my corvette makes me appreciative.

    Yeah, I want to square the window frame, but I need some unmolested doors before I can start. I was hoping some generous forum member might lend me some for a day.

    It was parked at the waffle house in Euless when a group of 3 Samoans saw the whataburger you had stealthily hidden underneath it and they flipped it over trying to get to the greasy goodness?

    CJ I was expecting it to be in way worse shape from the hints you dropped me. That's a perfect fixer upper.

    I'm guessing either David or Casey bought it.

    Nice buy. That thing sold quick off the other site. I love the fact that no matter how much body damage a jeep has it is always repairable.

    From what I can gather a stationary lazy roll upside down. Very little damage outside of the windscreen. I'm doing tube fenders and doors, so ill just replace a hood.
