tip on loosening harded creatine?

Was cleaning out the pantry and found my gallon of creatine I bought last year. I want to use it, but its hard as a rock inside. Any suggestions on how to loosen it up? I was thinking a little bit of water but then thought that might compromise it.

Try just banging the container around with the lid on it?

No water. You'll ruin it. Stick it in a bag and beat it up. It'll come lose.
