The bug hit me when I was in Seattle but that was pointless 9 mo a year.

Half of those are SlowLX's... but, yeah. Need to do some cleaning.

    Monte Zoncolan (22% max grade)

TT Plan de Corones - Giro de Italia
One of those very difficult days will be the Stage 16 San Vigilio di Marebbe to Plan de Corones individual TT of 12.85 km. The average grade is 8.5% and reaches a maximum grade of 24%; the summit is at 2,273 meters. To make things more interesting it just happens that the final kilometers are unpaved.

I use to put in about 100 a week on a df until I broke my right arm in 4 places and my pinkie smooth in two at the knuckle. I looove riding and still do it just a little different. I need to try a df again and see if it still hurts my right arm to ride. It sucks not to be able to lock out. I have been riding since I was very young and I still enjoy the rush at 39. I have to break it up now though. When the weather is right I swim once a week, bike two to three times a week, and lift two days a week. I take breaks some weeks but then kick myself for it. I let myself go from ehhh say 19-28 or so and was 367 pounds and over 50 percent body fat. Now I am lighter then I was in high school and way stronger. Biking helped me alot lose most of the major pounds. This is how I roll now, dont let the relaxed look fool ya she is pretty fast and very aero. I am not gonna lie I do miss my team bike with full Dura Ace but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. I always wanted a Colnago and may build one up of these days if i can get back on one of these.

The bike in that commercial is hanging in my garage. I'll probably be riding it tomorrow. I need to save most of my energy for an event I have Sunday though.

    Friday motvation.

“BEING A MOUNTAIN SPECIALIST IS VERY HARD. NOT THAT I’D RATHER BE ANYTHING ELSE BECAUSE I DON’T THINK YOU CAN BECOME… A BETTER HUMAN BEING WITHOUT EFFORT. YOU CAN BEAT THE PROBLEMS OF LIFE MUCH MORE EASILY IF YOU’VE MET HARDSHIP.

IT SOMETIMES LOOKS AS IF THE FIRST RIDER TO THE TOP HAS DONE IT FAIRLY EASILY; YOU TEND TO FEEL MORE SORRY FOR THE MEN WHO’VE KNOCKED THEMSELVES OUT TO MAKE THE CLIMB AT ALL; BUT BELIEVE ME TO BE QUICKER THAN THE REST, AND PARTICULARLY THAN THE OTHER STARS, INVOLVES A LOT OF PAIN.”

Fuck ya!! That's how I feel when I ride Stanton Street here in El Paso towards the mountain. It's not THAT steep but it's pretty damn close!
