    Are you running tubeless?

What I would do is get another set of wheels and have road setup and dirt setup.

A set of 700x35 cross tires or pavement tires fit fine. I have run 700x35's and 700x42 on my mtb for gravel races, they work ok on pavement.

I have a set of 700x35 Continental Speed king cross tires I can make you a deal on. They only have about 150 miles on them. I upgraded my cross bike to tubeless.

Stock tire replacement? I put a few hundred road miles on my stock rockhopper 9er tires. Don't be one of those fags with skinny road tires on a mountain bike. My kenda small block 8's grip well in the urban jungle, but they are soft and wear faster than my stock tires. No more full speed skids.

Take a look at the ground control tire. As much grip as a captain but faster. Just switched and I'm loving them.

You won't find a deal on Specialized tires, generally. Dorba members get 10% off at most local bike shops.

    My bike wheelies really well.

Squabble Creek? Yes. Very easy trail, very tight and twisty, but fun for a novice. A great place for an intermediate rider to work on picking lines. Lots of cover from the sun, makes a good night ride too.

ok, not sure what top speed has to do with anything but looking back at garmin data 21ish seems to be norm for northshore 24-25 at Horseshoe.

You might be able to hit a high speed but if you can not maintain it whats the point.

Pace is irrelevant, I wanna know top speeds.
