Anyone interested in the cotton patch challenge, let me know. There are events downtown all day. I live right down the street from downtown. The final stretch actually passes right in front of my house

I think I'd like to try it. But need to get out on the road more often.

Yeah you're a little ways away.

I need to get a computer then, I just pedal until I'm tired then coast, repeat.

I think I'll look into that.

I will add the disclaimer that I'm very active aside from cycling.

TCU doesn't have a game that weekend so I might have to come out for that cotton patch ride and knock out my metric century.
My plan is to double distance every week.

Seems how all my rides are.

I use map my ride on my phone, but I keep it in my pocket so it's hard to keep an eye on my speed and time.

I'm not blazing any high speeds now, but I enjoy just being out and riding -- sometimes fast and sometimes just a long, cruise type ride.

We should do a group ride one Saturday if there are enough people on here that want to ride.

I have yet to really push myself. I did 4 miles Saturday morning, a lot of which was uphill.
