    how do you do the about:config mod to firefox?

    i a walk through on the other board, but i dont feel like searching there.

        I posted a complete step by step how to on the other site about 2 years ago. Go do some searches on How to speed up Firefox on the Canada site.

          Why don't you just use the FasterFox addon or Palemoon Project? PMP is ff but highly optimized for Win.

            Some of these tweaks are not a part of the Fasterfox plugin. There is a noticeable improvement with these tweaks, especially if you are using Firefox 2. 1) In your location bar, type or copy/paste: about:config 2) In the filter bar type : network.http.pipelining Normally it says " false...

              Nice find. Oh, and if the question arises...Yes, most of these tweaks will still work on FF 3.6.x
