SD card issue in my Droid

My Evo keeps prompting me that my SD card is unmounted. My back cover has only been off twice since I got the phone 6 months ago. Once to change a batt. and another time a couple of weeks ago to check the SD card. It's been prompting me for at least a month now. Only time it really gets on my nerves is when I want to use the camera or use some of the apps that are on the card. Anyone have an idea whats going on? Should I take it in?

Mine did that when I first brought it home. I removed and then put back in the SD card and it has worked flawlessly since.
